Prayer for a Broken Nation

As our nation finds itself in a time of turmoil and pain, may we turn to the Heart of Our Savior for hope, healing, and His mercy. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be our refuge, always.

Prayer for a Broken Nation

Jesus, we, as a nation, have lost our way.

We cry out to You from the darkness we find ourselves in and beg for your mercy!

Heal our wounded hearts and troubled consciences.

We are steeped in sin. We have turned our back on You and our Our Blessed Mother. We tried to do it our way and now reap the seeds of destruction we have sown through selfishness, egoism, and pride.

Help us to see the only way out is by bowing our heads and bending our knees before You. You are the Savior of all, Jesus. Only You can bring our nation to a place of peace and hope. Only through You can we live in true freedom.

Jesus, we love You, we adore You, we hope in You, and we believe in Your goodness.

We ask pardon for all those who do not acknowledge You, have turned away from You, and reject You and the love that You poured out for us on the cross.

Jesus, there is hope to be found in You, we only need, as a people, to call Your Name!

Jesus, enflame our hearts with love for You!
Mary, Our Blessed Mother, enkindle in us the burning flames of love that come from Your Most Immaculate Heart.
St. Joseph, terror of demons, fill us with the spirit of obedience and abandonment to the Divine Will that resides in your most chaste heart.
St. Michael, protect us, and, by the power of the Most High God, dispel the darkness that has infiltrated our land and cast out all evil that prowls among us.

Jesus, we trust in You.
Jesus, we hope in You.
Jesus, we give our lives to You.

Jesus, heal our nation. In Your Most Holy Name, Jesus, we ask that You break any bonds of sin and death that may be holding us back from our total surrender to You.

Jesus, renew Your Spirit in our hearts.
May we love others as You love us.
May we see in ourselves and others Your goodness and who You created each one of us to be.
May we be merciful as You are merciful.
May we, as a people, come to see the fullness of Your glory and rest in Your Most Sacred Heart for eternity.
Amen.
