Jesus, may the pain I experience from this earthly body of mine be united to the pain You experienced on Your Cross of Love, so it is purified and I can offer it up for Your Glory.

May the pain I experience from this earthly body of mine be united to the pain You experienced on Your Cross of Love, so it is purified and I can offer it up for Your Glory.
May this illness I suffer from, be experienced as suffering no longer. Instead may I embrace the pain and exhaustion as a way to come to know You more through that which You suffered during Your Passion.
Jesus, in Your Mercy, I know You never allow more than I can bear, so I will fear no longer what may come my way.
Whatever results from my treatment, whether there is physical or mental healing or further decline in my earthly body’s health, I place all my trust in You.
I know if I do this, my fear will diminish, my pain will bear fruit, my death will lead to eternal life with You, the Father and the Holy Spirit.
You are my heart’s desire. Resting in Your Heart forever is what I seek in the depths of my soul.
Jesus, I trust in You with every beat of my heart.
I move in true freedom, knowing my Savior is with me always. I trust in You — for I know You will never leave my side.
Lead me always, Jesus. May my eyes never cease to gaze upon You.
