“Free Me From All Torment”

Sometimes fear and anxiety can manifest in ways that are so overwhelming I can only describe it as if I am being “tormented.” This is a prayer that I use when I am struggling with intense anxiety, OCD (Obsessive-compulsive) tendencies, intrusive or disturbing thoughts, and any other emotional struggle or spiritual attack that is taking away my peace and keeping me from trusting in Jesus.

Prayer: “In the Name of Jesus, I renounce all tormenting thoughts. Jesus, fill me with all that You are. Immerse me in Your peace, Your joy, and Your love. Amen.”
