“Behold, Your Mother”
Rosary and Prayers for Healing for Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day is a day to make a special effort to recognize and appreciate the mothers in our lives.
However, this day can be a difficult day for many. Mother wounds, struggles with infertility and miscarriages, the loss of a mother or child, and dealing with feelings of insecurity, guilt, and unworthiness as a mother are some of the reasons why Mother’s Day can be bittersweet.
Fortunately, even though Mother’s Day may be painful for all the reasons mentioned above, we still have a reason to be grateful and rejoice in a gift Jesus gave us on the cross before He died. He gave us the gift of His mother, our mother, Mary.
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.

I invite you to join me for an online prayer gathering (via Zoom) for Mother’s Day, Friday, May 12th at 5:30 p.m. Central Time to pray the rosary and other prayers for healing.
We will be offering prayers of petition to heal all wounds related to motherhood—physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual. We will also offer prayers of thanksgiving for the gift of our heavenly mother, Mary.
Let us take Mary home into our hearts this Mother’s Day, allowing her to immerse us in her most loving and Immaculate Heart.
May we entrust to her all wounds we might experience concerning motherhood.
May we allow Mary to come and be our mother. The mother of our heart. The mother of our soul. Our mother who leads us to Jesus and His Most Sacred Heart – the source of all hope, healing, and merciful love.
**This online prayer gathering is open to anyone (women and men of all ages) who wishes to pray for these intentions, whether for themselves or for loved ones who may be struggling on this day.
If you are interested in joining me, please fill out the form below. I will send you a Zoom invitation, as well as provide additional information and details about this prayer gathering.
