Jesus, I trust in You. I trust in Your Divine Mercy!
My dear Jesus,
Why at times do I find it so hard to trust in You? Especially when time and time again You show me Your mighty power, You move mountains, You clear obstacles in my path — all so I can do Your will!
And while, with each obstacle cleared I give You great praise, my doubts seep back in and I turn inward and begin to worry about the next obstacle, the “what if’s” plague my thoughts and anxiety begins to flood through my veins. “Trust,” You speak to my heart, “my plans will not be thwarted.”
Amen, Jesus, I trust in You. I trust in You! I turn back to You, in great sorrow from having turned inward, and from my coldness to Your unconditional care which You’ve shown me time and time again through marvelous works You’ve done in my life. You embrace me with Your Divine Mercy. You fill me with Your Pure Love.
Jesus, I trust in You. I trust in Your Divine Mercy!
I trust once again, You will show Your Mighty Power! I trust You will clear the way for me to do Your Will.
I see how truly the only obstacle in my way, is my own self, my pride, my self-love and the idea I have any control over anything.
I beg of You, Jesus, cleanse my heart of pride and the need to be in control, so all that is left is a heart totally devoted and in love with You!
