My dear Jesus,
Your desire for me to experience Your Mercy, Love and Peace is greater than I could ever desire for myself. So I surrender myself to You and all the desires of my heart.
Purify my desire to be loved, so I only seek to love others with the Love of Your Heart. In this way, I will be filled with Your Pure Love and no longer need to seek love, approval and acceptance from the world.
Purify my desire to be free from all inconveniences, trials, and troubles, so I seek only to serve You and live Your will for my life, even in the midst of obstacles and mountains which stand in my way. There is nothing that will keep me from You, my dear Jesus — may this be my heart’s promise to You.
I am filled with gratitude for Your many blessings, my soul is consumed with Your Peace as I begin this day.
May I never take my eyes off You, Jesus. In Your Mercy, fill my heart with the joy and peace of heaven, so I may always remember what is my ultimate goal, my forever desire — to spend eternity with You.
