My soul longs to be united to You.
When I reach to be satisfied by the things of this world, my body and mind are filled with anxiety, my heart is filled with sadness, and my life is spent seeking what it will never find.
So much of the suffering I experience is due to my own stubbornness, my own reluctance to leave all behind and live for You alone!
You comfort my heart; You ask me to turn to You and look upon Your face. You look upon me with compassion, You embrace me with Your loving arms.
You know my heart, my wounds, why I do everything I do. Patiently You wait for me to turn over all to You, for this is desire You have placed in my heart since the beginning, since I was conceived.
Your mercy showers down upon me, You fill me with Your Peace.
No longer am I a child of the night, no longer will I depend on the world for my happiness. I will seek Your will alone. I will rest in Your Heart of Love, Mercy and Healing forevermore!
