Jesus, give me the understanding in the depths of my heart, that this moment will pass, You will calm the waters of the raging sea I am in now.
Jesus,
In this moment now, fear consumes me!
I am afraid, and I don’t even know why!
My chest feels tight and I find it difficult to breathe.
My heart beats rapidly, my skin tingles from the blood surging through my veins.
The fear I may be dying overrides any rational thoughts I may have.
Jesus, I need You! Jesus, be with me now!
Take my fear and transform it into Your Love.
Consume me in Your Peace!
Place me in the safety and security of Your Heart, so all I know is Your Love.
Give me the understanding in the depths of my heart, that this moment will pass, You will calm the waters of the raging sea I am in now, and one day, I will no longer know any pain or suffering, only eternal peace with You, the Father and the Holy Spirit.
