Jesus, You purify my heart so it longs for You alone, for this is Your will, Your heart’s desire.
Jesus,
The pain which comes from seeking my will over Yours is great. You see my aching heart and the misery I have caused myself by turning away from You and Your will for my life.
Yet, You do not abandon me to my misery, but instead shower me with Your merciful love!
You know my wounds, my weaknesses, my earthly passions which still reside in my heart. Purify my soul, Jesus, cleanse my heart so that it lives for You alone!
In Your Goodness, You fill me with Your Peace and Love, so I have the knowing it’s never too late, I have not lost You forever!
Your love is greater than all my sins, all my wounds, all my weaknesses.
