Jesus, when the darkness overtakes me, consume me with Your light; shower Your graces upon me so the pain of this sadness washes away
My dear Jesus,
When the darkness overtakes me, consume me with Your light.
If I ever feel I am a burden to those around me, lift my soul to heaven to remind me of where I came.
In the moments I feel all hope is lost and I can no longer hang on, surround me with Your angels and protect me from the lies that try to convince me I am unworthy of Your love and mercy.
Shower me with Your love. Pour Your graces upon me so the excruciating pain of this sadness washes away.
If even for a moment, give me Your peace – for even a miniscule drop of Your peace will give me the strength to endure until the sadness lifts.
Heal me, my Jesus; consume me in Your Love.
