It is well known a mother’s prayers are powerful. And what mother’s prayers could be more powerful than those of Our Blessed Mother, the Mother of God?
Countless Popes and Saints throughout the centuries have attested to Mary’s powerful intercession, especially through praying the Rosary. In her apparitions at Fatima, Mary herself has asked us to pray the Rosary.
So let us confidently come to our Blessed Mother with all our prayers and petitions, trusting in her maternal care and powerful intercession before Our Heavenly Father.

To Pray a Rosary for Healing on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary*
Date: Friday, October 7th
Time: 5:30 p.m. (Central Time)
Our prayer intentions will include healing needed in our own hearts, our families, our parishes and communities, in our Church, and in the world. Other prayer intentions are welcome.
We will pray the Sorrowful Mysteries and have a short time for silent meditation. Since it is also a First Friday, we will pray the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

*The Feast of the Our Lady of the Rosary (first named Our Lady of Victory) was established in 1573 by Saint Pius X to praise God for the victory of the Christians over the Turks at the Battle of Lepanto, which he attributed to the intercession to Our Blessed Mother through praying the Rosary.
