Jesus, You give me rest and place within me a knowing my life is completely Yours.
My dear Jesus,
Sorrow fills my heart as I see the time lost in serving myself and seeking to fill my earthly desires.
But You do not let me linger there — You lift me up and fill me with the Joy of Heaven, the Joy in Your Heart, from the choice I have made to surrender all to You.
You show me how You will use the moments I was lost to display Your glory in saving a lost soul such as mine. Your Mercy showers over me and fills me with Your Peace, as I know my Savior loves me regardless of my past, my sins, my wounds.
You give me rest and place within me a knowing my life is completely Yours now, and because of this, my worries will cease, my anxieties will diminish as soon as they appear — because I am now so close to You, I rest so completely in Your Heart, I can only be reminded every moment of Your Love and Great Protection over my soul.
You guide me with Your Peace. I know there is nothing to fear. You are my Savior, my God, my King. I serve You alone.
I am Your humble servant, but even more so, You are my dearest friend, companion and my heart’s desire in this life and the next.
Amen, my Jesus. I live in true freedom, for You have given me the taste of eternal Peace.
