When anxiety rushes upon me, I turn to You and my heart finds rest
My dear Jesus,
My hearts rests in You alone.
There is no other joy but that which is found in You.
When the anxiety rushes upon me and hopelessness fills my mind with dreadful thoughts that turn into despair, I turn to You and my heart finds rest, my soul is filled with Your peace.
I know Jesus, You are there, even when I cannot sense Your presence, even when I am consumed by my fear.
My faith in You sustains me – it is the faith that You have placed in my heart.
You know what I need before I ask, what I desire before I long for it.
You consume me in Your love, so I may live in Your peace. Your peace which can always be found deep in my soul where You reside waiting for me to come to You and rest in Your Heart.
